Tonight is VAST graduation at Vermont Tech.  Congratulation John Michael!  The shin dig has been moved into Judd hall.

Birthday games

A most enjoyable birthday. We headed off for Mexican food for lunch and games afterwards. My wonderful family got me 2 new games.

Really? Snow at the end of April

So there we were, at the kitchen table enjoying breakfast and we both look out of the window to see snow.  Try as we might we couldn’t convince ourselves that it was bugs or pollen.  It’s really snow.  Thankfully it’s not a lot. A few errant flakes drifting on the bitter wind.

First world problem: Getting the kids to blog

So I’ve been thinking about how to get the kids to help with the update of the family blog.  It’s not really a family blog if dad is the one who does all the updates all the time, so I was pondering different ideas.  Things like:

• Allowance increase for posts
• Making it a weekly chore that bounces from child to child
• …

And of course, yes, I realize trying to get the kids to update the family web site is a small and insignificant problem in the grand scheme of things.

Death of .mac and iWeb

With the impending death of iWeb and .mac services, we are moving Skoda.com over to another hosting service.  The switch should be soon and my hope is that with the switch and renewed interest in the site, my family will help update the blog
